OFFICE HOURS AND APPOINTMENTS

Our regular office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday. We urge you to call our offices during these hours when our staff is available to assist you. Please call early as appointments can fill quickly.

We will also offer emergency after hour services most Mondays through Thursdays and Saturday mornings starting at 8:00 am. This helps your family avoid costly inconvenient emergency rooms and urgent care centers for an acute illness that can not wait until normal office hours. We feel your child's health is best served at their medical home (their Pediatrician). Please, be aware that an after hours fee will be billed in addition to your office visit care for all appointments made outside of our regular office hours of 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday.

It is best to schedule Well-Check Up Visits 2-3 months in advance, particularly during the physical season, June - September. Failure to schedule with advance notice will greatly limit physician and time availability.

AFTER HOURS

We recognize that children do not always become ill during regular office hours. We make ourselves available to you in the evenings, weekends, and holidays. One of our physicians is on call during these times when we are not in the office.

If your child is in an emergency situation, ALWAYS CALL 9-1-1 FIRST!

If your child has an urgent medical problem, you can reach the physician on call by calling our regular telephone number. Your call will connect to an answering service that will take you and your child's information down and then contact the physician.

If you have not heard back from the physician within half an hour, please check again with the answering service to be sure the message was delivered.

TELEPHONE
We have nurses available by telephone to answer your questions. They are specifically trained to counsel you, following guidelines set by the physicians. Our nurses will help with questions about infant feeding, child nutrition, behavior, growth and development. They will also advise you on the care of an ill child and help determine if your child needs to be examined by a physician.

PRESCRIPTION REFILLS

Telephone refill requests will be transferred to a dedicated mailbox and phoned in twice a day Monday through Friday.

Please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance.

Controlled substances cannot be prescribed by phone.
